Xiaomi is going to launch the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro globally in the coming weeks. The alleged renders and specifications have leaked online ahead of the smartphone series launch, as per a report. We’ve come across multiple rumors and leaks about the phones, hinting at us on what to expect. These leaked renders suggest that the rumored smartphone series could launch in at least two color options. This report highlights that the Phones will feature different SoCs and primary camera sensors. The 12T Pro will be featuring a 200MP camera, while the regular 12T is more likely to get a 108MP camera. We are hoping that the Xiaomi 12T series will launch in the first week of October.
Continuing Xiaomi’s tradition, the handset will likely be a mid-ranged version of the Xiaomi 12 from earlier in 2022. We saw a similar pattern with the Xiaomi 11T and so on, and these are usually dependable mid-cost phones that appeal to people who want flagship features on a budget. The best part will likely be the price, as these phones fall straight into the middle of the mid-range market. The Xiaomi 11T Pro costs exactly the same as the Google Pixel 6a, despite having better specs in many departments, and the non-Pro version cost even less. The Xiaomi 12T Pro in particular could be a terrific device, although it is likely to have an almost-premium flagship-smartphone price tag in Pakistan.
Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro: Expected design
The report also spills some beans on the specifications of the phones. These images show the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro share striking similar designs. They both come with a center-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. While a triple camera layout on the back panel, narrow bezels, and multiple color options.
The USB Type-C port for charging, speaker grille, and SIM tray section is at the bottom. The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge. The phones have flat edges on the front. The top section houses the speaker grille, secondary noise cancellation, and IR blaster. The back panel has a slight curve to the edge, which offers a better grip when holding the phone. The frames & casings are made from plastic, completely abandoning the metal housing.
Xiaomi 12T, Xiamoi 12T Pro: Expected price and Release date
According to a report by WinFuture the prices of the phones would be as mentioned below. For 12T we can expect the launch price to be roughly EUR 649 in Europe. However, For the Pro model, we can safely assume the price to be roughly EUR 849. The prices in Pakistan would be around 1,50,836 Rs/- for Xiaomi 12T and 1,97,319 Rs/- for the Xiaomi 12T Pro model.
It’s not clear exactly when the phones will land, but rumors suggest it could arrive in early October.
Based on the fact that the Xiaomi 11T was unveiled in September of 2021, and went on sale in October. So a similar schedule in 2022 is possible for the 12T.
Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro Expected Specs
According to the leaks, the 12 T could come with the Dimensity 8100-Ultra chipset. Which is a high but not quite top-end chipset. And the 12T Pro would have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
Moving to the cameras, the regular 12 T will have a 108MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. Whereas, the Xiaomi 12T Pro will be having the new 200MP main sensor. we can assume that Both phones will be coming with a 20MP front camera for selfies and video chats.
The phones will also have 8GB of RAM though they claim there might also be a 12GB version for the Pro model, a choice of 128GB or 256GB of storage, 120Hz AMOLED screens and the phones are said to be equipped with a 5000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. Both phones are likely to take advantage of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage types, with Android 12-based MIUI 13 as the operating system.
