iPhone 14:

Google Pixel 7:
The Google Pixel 6 saw the search giant return to creating real flagships following the previous model’s middle-tier departure. In addition, following the official teaser from Google I/O 2022, The Pixel 7 looks set to take the same path.
The official specs aren’t yet on the ground. However, Google did provide an unveiled glimpse of its seventh generation Pixel at the event. Images from the promotional event showed a phone upgraded to that of the Pixel 6, with curved glass on the front, and a metallic camera bar at the back, with three lenses and edges that blend into the chassis.
We also know that the Pixel 7 will likely come equipped with a brand new, next-generation Google Tensor chip. The performance capabilities of the chip are not known yet, but if its predecessor is any indication, then it appears that the Pixel 7 should offer a premium smartphone experience.
The Pixel 7 is scheduled to be released “later this year” and could be the best android upcoming smartphones of 2022. Launched last year, the Huawei P50 Pro was somewhat of an odd choice. It was a true photography machine. Four cameras had plenty of megapixels, with a periscope lens, which provided a dazzling 20x zoom digital. The problem was that the ongoing trade restrictions made the upcoming smartphones take a long time to export out of China.
Does its successor do better? The only way to know is time. There is no telling when the Huawei P60 Pro & Pro Plus are going to be available in 2022. According to reports, the P60 Pro could be coming out with a September release date. Based on the development of the previous Pro smartphones and Pro Plus models, the P60 Pro will probably pack an impressive camera kit and a large, full-screen experience.
There isn’t much known about the specifications for P60 Pro. P60 Pro, let alone whether or when it will ever reach Blighty (or over).
Huawei Mate 50:
Since Huawei launched its P50 Pro worldwide, fans are already anticipating the Mate 50.
These phones would typically have been launched in the fall of 2021. But we are still anticipating Mate 50 phones in 2022. It’s likely to see an initial Chinese launch. Followed by Europe and the rest of Asia, to follow a few months later.

Xiaomi 12 Ultra:

It was going to launch in the second half of 2022 in China. And an international rollout was going to be near the end of this year. Another report suggests the possibility of a bigger 50MP 1/1.1in or perhaps a full 1in Sony sensor as the primary camera, which could provide the 12 Ultra impressive low-light capabilities. The ultra-wide and telephoto lenses are likely to stay the same.
Whether the second rear display will remain in space inside the camera’s camera bump remains clear. Chatter on the internet also suggests a 120Hz OLED display, a 120W fast-charging feature, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Generation 1+ chip in. We’d love to see software tricks cut back, processor heat slowed down, and a few pounds cut off the cost.
Oppo Reno 8:
Oppo does not always release their Reno handsets in the UK. But, we are hoping that their newly launched Reno 8 series might be able to make it to the UK market.
The phones are available in three versions to choose from, including a Pro and Pro+ model in addition to the regular version. The three phones are all similar. However, there are only minor modifications to the screen’s dimensions and the specs. And larger modifications to the chipsets, including an upgraded Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 in the 8 Pro.
Vivo X80 Pro:
The Vivo X80 Pro is out today in certain markets. And it launched in the first week of July in the Uk.
It’s a costly phone as the price was around $1199, but it’s worth it. The camera is possibly the best in any smartphone available at the moment. And it’s not a slouch in other aspects too.
Asus ROG Phone 6:
A huge blower that was a beefcake, The Asus ROG Phone 5 was our top game phone in 2021. It checked all the boxes needed to play in the field with a flawless performance. It has a stunning display and plenty of gaming-related features.
The official word on this ROG Phone 6 isn’t on the surface. But there’s every reason to believe that Asus is developing a sequel. As with every ROG upgrade, we could expect faster performance, more slick tricks, and a scrumptious screen. Making it one of the best gaming phones in the Upcoming smartphones of 2022.
Assuming Asus is indeed working on a ROG Phone 6, what date can we anticipate seeing it? In addition to the ROG Phone 5, the previous ROG Phones were all launched in the fall. We want to think that ROG Phone 6 is to follow suit, to continue this trend. So, Keep an eye out for it in August 2022.
Motorola Frontier:
Motorola has been heavily promoting a smartphone that they are going to call “the Frontier”. And the latest leaks indicate that it is going to debut in the Upcoming smartphones of 2022.
Motorola’s recent phones have featured premium specs and features for a mid-range price. Its next phone is likely to go one step further. Early leaks have revealed that the Frontier is going to arrive in the summer of 2022. With massive cameras that house what’s going to be a huge 194-megapixel main camera. The sources suggest that the Frontier will also have 50MP ultrawide cameras and 12MP telephoto ones.
Other specs are also impressive, should the rumors prove to be accurate. They indicate the possibility of a 6.7″ OLED display panel up-front. A Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chip inside, fast charging of 125W, and 5G wireless connectivity support.
Recent reports suggest that a launch in July could be in the cards, but there’s no information yet about pricing. Motorola’s latest devices have leaned towards mid-range prices. Still, If the price hike of Edge 20 Pro to the new Edge 30 Pro is anything to be fair. The Frontier might come with an expense compared to the astronomical megapixels.
Osom OV1:
The Osom OV1 will be the first phone of the new startup Osom that will be launching in the fourth quarter of 2022. Which means that it will be available between October – December. And making it in the list of Upcoming smartphones of 2022.
Osom is a business founded by a handful of former workers of Essential. Who, in their own time, were able to manage a phone or two before vanishing. The OV1 appears to be a great phone with high-end stainless steel and a strong focus on privacy, right down to the USB-C charging cable that has an option to turn off data transmission when charging in public areas.
Nokia 10 PureView:
Rumors about a Nokia 9 PureView replacement have been circulating since the device launched at MWC in 2019. Despite the lengthy wait, there’s no guarantee whether, when, or how the multi-lens phone will succeed.
People have been suggesting Nokia 9.3, 10, the X50, X60, and various other names for the mysterious device. However, one common thing to all the soothsayers is the belief that it’ll establish a new standard for Nokia. We’d expect PureView to come with every kind of camera technology. The new model will also require 5G connectivity to keep up with its rivals.
Four cameras, huge batteries, and powerful processors are rumors of Nokia 10 PureView everywhere. However, the official specs aren’t available. According to some sources, the absence may be due to a lack of appropriate silicon. The truth of that is anybody’s speculation.
It’s unknown whether the handset is even in development or how much it will cost (smartphone pricing had risen dramatically from when its predecessor launched at £549 or $699). As you can see, it’s not a phone to bet on. However, we’re hoping for the next Nokia flagship by 2022.
