The iPhone 14 and its siblings are obviously the most anticipated upcoming smartphones in 2022. Therefore, we can’t ignore them.
This hype is justifiable because it’s believed to be the case that iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will sport completely new designs, including no cut-outs for cameras and a notch instead.
There’s also a possibility that there may be a new iPhone in the shape of iPhone 14 Max – a basic iPhone with a large 6.7-inch screen, which might be a replacement for the iPhone 14 mini.

Google Pixel 7:
The Google Pixel 6 saw the search giant return to creating real flagships following the previous model’s middle-tier departure. In addition, following the official teaser from Google I/O 2022, The Pixel 7 looks set to take the same path.
The official specs aren’t yet on the ground. However, Google did provide an unveiled glimpse of its seventh generation Pixel at the event. Images from the promotional event showed a phone upgraded to that of the Pixel 6, with curved glass on the front, and a metallic camera bar at the back, with three lenses and edges that blend into the chassis.
We also know that the Pixel 7 will likely come equipped with a brand new, next-generation Google Tensor chip. The performance capabilities of the chip are not known yet, but if its predecessor is any indication, then it appears that the Pixel 7 should offer a premium smartphone experience.
The Pixel 7 is scheduled to be released “later this year” and could be the best android upcoming smartphones of 2022. We’d anticipate seeing the Pixel 7 arrive in October, the month that Google’s flagship phones have historically unveiled their covers. The pricing is a mystery; however, we’d like to see it beat the rivals of Apple or Samsung.
Google Pixel Fold:
What is the mystery of the Pixel Fold? Based on the person you ask, there’ll be many different answers. Many believed that the Pixel 6 would be bendable. Others speculated that a specific Pixel Fold device would launch in 2021 by the time the year 2021 was over. The latest information suggests that Google will not launch the Fold as one of the upcoming smartphones of 22 in any way, at least not in its current version.
Does this mean we won’t have a folding Pixel phone by 2022? Not necessarily. Most likely, it indicates that Google has canceled its initial effort at making a folding device, concentrating on a new device for launch at the end of this year. It’s certainly in line with the industry rumors that Google isn’t planning to unveil a foldable device until the first quarter of 2022.
What specification does Google’s folding feature offer? This isn’t as certain – but if it’s in line with the pattern set by Pixel 6, you can anticipate a stylish, elegant design with an unobtrusive Android interface optimized to fold.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4:
The Galaxy S23 isn’t the only Samsung phone that we’re anticipating in the list of upcoming smartphones of 2022. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is also anticipated and could become the most foldable phone available, not only by Samsung or any other company.
The phone is likely to launch at the end of August or September. However, the moment it does, it may be smaller and have less dust and a waterproof appearance than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, which comes with a larger battery and a better camera under the display.
One source claims that it’s possible that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 might include two improved under-display cameras, and it might offer the same camera features as Samsung Galaxy S22. It’s also possible to include an option to accommodate the S Pen stylus going by leaks, and a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4:
It’s possible that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 may not be as exciting or expensive as Samsung’s Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. However, it will offer much more affordability, and rumors suggest it’s probably the most popular foldable phone from Samsung.
The latest rumors suggest that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is identical to the Z Flip 3, with the same 6.7-inch main display and the 1.9-inch cover display. However, there are reports that the cover display could increase in size, and the phone could be able to add an additional rear camera as well as an increased battery.
It’s possible to be extremely powerful as well, and it could include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chipset and 8GB of RAM. We expect this phone to debut sometime in August or later.
The OnePlus 10T could be the company’s flagship device for the second quarter of upcoming smartphones of 2022, which sounds strange so far.
Leaks suggest that it might be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chipset and 150W charging, which means that it beats the OnePlus 10 Pro on both sides. It also appears to have smaller resolution screens with a lower camera and smaller batteries.
It’s still not entirely clear what we can know about how the OnePlus 10T will be positioned. The information is sparse and mostly comes from leakers with no solid factual information to release. However, we’ll be able to answer questions about whether there’s any indication that the OnePlus 10 is canceled and what its Ultra could differ from the Pro.
OnePlus Nord 2T:
With its elegant design, solid performance, and impressive primary camera. The OnePlus Nord 2 was one of our top Android phones, in this year’s mid-priced range. If you’re looking for an affordable alternative to the flagship in 2022. The OnePlus Nord 2T is an excellent option. The successor is scheduled to launch in the summer of 2022.
In contrast to the previously announced 10 Pro, OnePlus hasn’t yet officially announced the specs of the Nord 2T as well as the date of its release. However, if the past two generations are any indication, then we’re likely to see this Nord 2T hit shelves in June or July and giving tough competition to the other phones in the mid-range section of upcoming smartphones of 2022.
There is no chance of radical upgrades. The leaks suggest that Nord 2T will likely ship with its predecessor’s identical 6.43″ OLED display. Instead, we’d anticipate minor enhancements, such as slightly faster silicon and faster charging. The jury is in the sand on whether or not we’ll get camera improvements or modifications to the design.
This rumor also suggests that OnePlus Nord 2T will stick with the battery capacity of 4500mAh from that of the Nord 2 before. Since the battery’s capacity was one of the main issues, we ran into Nord 2. We are hoping OnePlus will tweak the software to help get it out.

OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei’s newest firm, Nothing, has only launched one pair of headphones thus to date. But now, the company is going to launch its first phone on the 12th of July called Nothing Phone 1.

Rumors suggest the phone has a 6.55″ OLED display, uniform bezels, and flat sides. Internal photos posted by Nothing reveal the presence of wireless charging coils, which shouldn’t be a shock. There’s not much information about the design of the new phone but, from the leaks and rumors its safe to assume that it will be definitely be in the list of best mid-range Upcoming smartphones of 2022. Still, teaser images published via Nothing on Twitter indicate that the phone will follow the transparent design style that has become the brand’s signature.
Be aware that the phone will launch with an invitation-only system. Therefore you’ll have to head to the Nothing website to make an application if you want to purchase it.
Huawei P60 Pro:
Launched last year, the Huawei P50 Pro was somewhat of an odd choice. It was a true photography machine. Four cameras had plenty of megapixels, with a periscope lens, which provided a dazzling 20x zoom digital. The problem was that the ongoing trade restrictions made the upcoming smartphones take a long time to export out of China.
Does its successor do better? The only way to know is time. There is no telling when the Huawei P60 Pro & Pro Plus are going to be available in 2022. According to reports, the P60 Pro could be coming out with a September release date. Based on the development of the previous Pro smartphones and Pro Plus models, the P60 Pro will probably pack an impressive camera kit and a large, full-screen experience.

The twin-screen Xiaomi 11 Ultra launched last year, with enough megapixels across the three cameras on its rear to meet the needs of a large number of photographers on the upcoming smartphone. Its successor appears set to push the boundaries of photography even higher.
It was going to launch in the second half of 2022 in China. And an international rollout was going to be near the end of this year. Some sources suggest there is a possibility that Xiaomi 12 Ultra could ship with Leica camera equipment. Another report suggests the possibility of a bigger 50MP 1/1.1in or perhaps a full 1in Sony sensor as the primary camera, which could provide the 12 Ultra impressive low-light capabilities. The ultra-wide and telephoto lenses are likely to stay the same.
Whether the second rear display will remain in space inside the camera’s camera bump remains clear. Chatter on the internet also suggests a 120Hz OLED display, a 120W fast-charging feature, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Generation 1+ chip in. We’d love to see software tricks cut back, processor heat slowed down, and a few pounds cut off the cost.
Oppo Reno 8:
Oppo does not always release their Reno handsets in the UK. But, we are hoping that their newly launched Reno 8 series might be able to make it to the UK market.
The phones are available in three versions to choose from, including a Pro and Pro+ model in addition to the regular version. The three phones are all similar. However, there are only minor modifications to the screen’s dimensions and the specs. And larger modifications to the chipsets, including an upgraded Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 in the 8 Pro.
Vivo X80 Pro:
The Vivo X80 Pro is out today in certain markets. And it launched in the first week of July in the Uk.

Assuming Asus is indeed working on a ROG Phone 6, what date can we anticipate seeing it? In addition to the ROG Phone 5, the previous ROG Phones were all launched in the fall. We want to think that ROG Phone 6 is to follow suit, to continue this trend. So, Keep an eye out for it in August 2022.

Nokia 10 PureView:
Rumors about a Nokia 9 PureView replacement have been circulating since the device launched at MWC in 2019. Despite the lengthy wait, there’s no guarantee whether, when, or how the multi-lens phone will succeed.
People have been suggesting Nokia 9.3, 10, the X50, X60, and various other names for the mysterious device. However, one common thing to all the soothsayers is the belief that it’ll establish a new standard for Nokia. We’d expect PureView to come with every kind of camera technology. The new model will also require 5G connectivity to keep up with its rivals.
Four cameras, huge batteries, and powerful processors are rumors of Nokia 10 PureView everywhere. However, the official specs aren’t available. According to some sources, the absence may be due to a lack of appropriate silicon. The truth of that is anybody’s speculation.
It’s unknown whether the handset is even in development or how much it will cost (smartphone pricing had risen dramatically from when its predecessor launched at £549 or $699). As you can see, it’s not a phone to bet on. However, we’re hoping for the next Nokia flagship by 2022.
