Apple CEO Tim Cook just held its biggest annual iPhone 14 Far Out Event of the year on September 7. It was the first in-person, indoor launch event apple had after Covid-19 at the Steve Jobs Theatre on the company’s Cupertino campus. The company unveiled its new iPhone 14 series featuring iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Additionally, Apple also announced their new Apple Watch Series 8 model together with Second Generation SE, and Apple Watch Ultra along with their new AirPods Pro 2.

Apple finally revealed its iPhone 14 lineup in the “Far Out” event. And has launched 4 iPhone 14 this year again, but there is a change. The company has swapped its mini model with a plus model. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus comes powered by the last year’s A15 bionic chipset, while the Pro models run on the latest A16 Bionic chipset. All 4 of them will be running IOS 16 out of the box. People were thinking that apple will increase its prices this year but it didn’t happen, the iPhone 14 Pro will start at $999, and the Pro Max starts at $1099, same as last year. iPhone 14 will start at $799, while the iPhone 14 Plus starts at $899. Pre-orders start on September 9, and the sale begins on September 16 besides iPhone 14 Plus which will go on sale on October 7.

  • A new, low-distortion audio driver and amplifier for improved sound quality.
  • Adaptive Transparency Mode – The H2 chip reduces loud environmental sounds. Like a siren, construction work, or loudspeakers at a concert without silencing noise entirely.
  • The ‌AirPods Pro‌ offer richer bass and clearer sound across a wider range of frequencies.
  • You’ll Be Able to Charge the AirPods Pro 2 Using Your Apple Watch Charger now.
  • You can use the true-depth cameras of your iPhone to be able to make a “personalized spatial audio profile” based on the shape of your ear.
  • Better Noise Cancellation which is now twice as effective.
  • Up to 6 hours of usage time per charge. With up to 30 hours of additional charge in the carrying case.
  • Touch-based controls are now on the stem, instead of the squeeze-based controls of the previous model.
  • There’s a built-in speaker at the bottom of the case. Which can be triggered to help you find it like the find my phone function.
  • The new AirPods Pro Series 2 will sell for $249 starting from September 23rd.

New Apple Watches:

  • Apple Watch Series 8 comes with a new body temperature Sensor as announced in the iPhone 14 Far Out Event.
  • The body temperature sensor enables retrospective ovulation estimates and estimates of cycle deviation.
  • Apple also introduced a new Car Crash Detection feature in the Apple Watch Series 8.
  • The new sensor in the Series 8 measures the wearer’s wrist temperature every five seconds overnight. And can alert the user using the health app.
  • The new sensor in Apple Watch Series 8 joins the standard heart rate sensor & the ECG app. This merger offers users a comprehensive suite of health features.
  • Apple Watch Series 8‌ still features up to 18 hours of battery life like previous models. But can last up to 36 hours per charge due to the low power mode of WatchOS 9.
  • The Series 8 starts at $399 for GPS and $499 for cellular models.
  • The Series 8 is available in aluminum Midnight, Starlight, Silver, and Product(RED). And Silver, Gold, and Graphite color for stainless steel Series 8 models
  • Apple has also announced various watch straps ranging from $49 to $849

  • Apple also Unveils a new rugged Apple Watch Ultra With Large-Screen Design for Athletes and Explorers.
  • Apple Watch Ultra is equipped with grade 5 titanium and sapphire crystal.
  • Apple Watch Ultra is able to last for up to 36 hours on a single charge. The battery could last this long with normal use and due to the larger battery.
  • The battery can even last up to 60 hours with a new Low Power Mode. And battery optimization options in WatchOS 9 also play an important role in this.
  • It has a “night mode” that shifts the screen to red color. To limit how much your eyes need to readjust in a dark environment constantly.
  • The battery timing is calculated according to 15 hours of workout, and 600+ time checks. It also includes 35 minutes of app use coupled with 3 minutes of talk time & 15 hours of sleep tracking. And lastly, 5 hours connected to ‌the iPhone‌ via Bluetooth.
  • Apple Watch Ultra offers a larger digital crown meant to be usable while wearing gloves
  • Apple Watch Ultra got a built-in 86db siren mode. For the purpose of using it in situations where you need someone to be able to find you fast.
  • Improved compass functionality keeps you heading in the right direction, allowing you to track directions.
  • All in all It’s certified for “recreational scuba”, allowing Athletes to take it down to 130 ft underwater
  • A dedicated “action button” that lets you do things like instantly start or stop your workout, or mark the record.
  • Apple Watch Ultra will start shipping at $799 on September 23rd.
